Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly. Tolperitas-P Tablet also reduces fever that sometimes accompany a muscle spasm.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tolperitas-P Tablet is to be taken with food.

Tolperitas-P Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tolperisone and Paracetamol, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Tolperisone is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve the muscle stiffness or spasm. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever.

Alcohol:
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Tolperitas-P Tablet.

Pregnancy:
Tolperitas-P Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
Information regarding the use of Tolperitas-P Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.

Driving:
Tolperitas-P Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:
Tolperitas-P Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tolperitas-P Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, Tolperitas-P Tablet contains paracetamol which is considered the safest painkiller for kidney disease patients.

Liver:
Tolperitas-P Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tolperitas-P Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, the use of Tolperitas-P Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

You have been prescribed Tolperitas-P Tablet to relieve pain due to muscle spasm.
It is usually used along with rest and physical therapy.
Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Tolperitas-P Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage.
Older adults may have increased drowsiness, confusion, and higher risk of falling while taking Tolperitas-P Tablet.
Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first.

If you miss a dose of Tolperitas-P Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
