Biovac A Vaccine protects against hepatitis A, a serious liver infection caused by the hepatitis A virus (HAV), that spreads via contact with contaminated food or water. It is made from a weakened strain of HAV. It helps the body build immunity by producing antibodies against the virus, preventing infection. Biovac A Vaccine is injected into the upper arm muscle (deltoid). A single dose imparts adequate immunoprotection in children 1 year of age and above.
