This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Zyclear Eye Drop is an antiallergic. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) which is responsible for red, itchy, watery eyes.

Zyclear Eye Drop is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breastfeeding:
Zyclear Eye Drop is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving:
It is not known whether Zyclear Eye Drop alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after putting the medication. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
A stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
If you wear eye lenses, avoid wearing them immediately after using Zyclear Eye Drop. You may wear spectacles instead. Your doctor will be able to advise you on this.
Make sure to use Zyclear Eye Drop within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
Your doctor has prescribed Zyclear Eye Drop to help relieve allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling and rashes.
As compared to other similar medications, it is much less likely to make you feel sleepy.
Be cautious while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as it can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
Do not drink alcohol while taking this medication as it may cause increased sleepiness.
Stop taking Zyclear Eye Drop at least 3 days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.

If you miss a dose of Zyclear Eye Drop, use it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule.
