In Meniere's diseaseMénière’s disease is a disorder of the inner ear that causes severe dizziness (vertigo), ringing in the ears (tinnitus), hearing loss, and a feeling of congestion in the ear. This is due to build-up of fluid in the inner ear. Zevert Pvg NF Tablet reduces the amount of fluid and prevents symptoms from developing. It may take a couple of weeks before you notice any improvements but keep taking it, even if you do feel better, until your doctor advises it is safe to stop.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zevert Pvg NF Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Zevert Pvg NF Tablet is a combination of five medicines: Betahistine, Vitamin D3, Ginkgo Biloba, Piracetam and Vinpocetine. Betahistine improves blood flow in the inner ear which reduces the pressure of excess fluid in the inner ear. Vitamin D3 is added as it's deficiency may be a cause of Miniere's disease. Ginkgo Biloba and Vinpocetine increase blood flow to the brain and protect it from damage by harmful chemical substances (free radicals). Piracetam works by further protecting the brain and nervous system against shortness of oxygen and also affects various channels on nerve cells.

Alcohol:
Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Zevert Pvg NF Tablet. Please consult your doctor.

Pregnancy:
Zevert Pvg NF Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
Information regarding the use of Zevert Pvg NF Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.

Driving:
Zevert Pvg NF Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.Zevert Pvg NF Tablet may cause drowsiness and shakiness. This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney:
Zevert Pvg NF Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Zevert Pvg NF Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:
Zevert Pvg NF Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Zevert Pvg NF Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Zevert Pvg NF Tablet is used to treat Meniere's disease (inner-ear condition that causes dizziness).
To be taken with or after food to avoid indigestion.
Visit the emergency department if you accidentally take too much of this medicine and symptoms such as tiredness, inability to urinate, dry mouth, fast heart rate, sweating, headache and dizziness occur.

If you miss a dose of Zevert Pvg NF Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
