No dose adjustment of Zeficlor 125mg Dry Syrup is recommended.Zeficlor 125mg Dry Syrup is relatively safe to use in children with liver disease. However, consult with your child’s doctor before giving this medicine to your child in case of a severe form of liver disease.

Zeficlor 125mg Dry Syrup is not recommended for children less than 1 month of age.
Ensure that your child completes the entire course of antibiotics. Quitting in between may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection.
Give this medicine with food to avoid an upset stomach.
Give your child plenty of water if they develop diarrhea as a side effect.
Conditions like common cold and flu are caused by viruses. Never use this medicine for such conditions.
Avoid saving up the medicine for future use and focus on giving Zeficlor 125mg Dry Syrup to your child for their current infection.
Stop this medicine and immediately report to your child’s doctor in case your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulties while taking this medicine.
Your doctor has prescribed Zeficlor 125mg Dry Syrup to cure your infection and improve your symptoms.
Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach.
Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it does not  stop or if you find blood in your stools.
Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Zeficlor 125mg Dry Syrup as it may cause increased side effects.
Discontinue Zeficlor 125mg Dry Syrup and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.

Unless your child’s doctor has advised otherwise, you can give the missed dose as soon as you remember. In case it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not give a double dose to catch up and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.
