Product Description
Xenia 10 Tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes, heart failure, and chronic kidney disease (CKD). It helps lower blood sugar levels in people with diabetes when used with diet and exercise. In heart failure and CKD, it helps reduce hospitalizations and slow disease progression. Xenia 10 Tablet can be taken with or without food, in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. For best results, continue to follow your doctor’s advice on diet and exercise. Stay well-hydrated, especially during hot weather or physical activity, and attend regular check-ups to monitor your blood sugar, kidney function, and overall health. The most common side effects of Xenia 10 Tablet are urinary tract infections and female genital yeast infections (vaginal mycosis). Maintain good personal hygiene, drink plenty of fluids, and contact your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Some people, especially those taking insulin or sulfonylureas, may experience low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). If this happens, consume something sugary and inform your doctor if it occurs frequently.Do not use Xenia 10 Tablet if you are allergic to empagliflozin or any of its ingredients. This medicine is not recommended for people with type 1 diabetes. Use it with caution if you have kidney or liver problems, are elderly, take diuretics (water pills), or have low blood pressure, as it may cause dehydration or dizziness. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not use Xenia 10 Tablet, as it may harm the baby.
Key Benefits
In Treatment of Heart FailureIn adults with heart failure, Xenia 10 Tablet helps reduce the risk of hospitalization and death due to heart-related causes. It helps the body get rid of extra salt and water, which lessens the strain on the heart and improves symptoms such as shortness of breath, tiredness, and swelling in the legs. Improving the heart’s function and reducing flare-ups help patients stay more active and maintain independence in their daily lives. In Treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitusXenia 10 Tablet helps lower blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes when used in combination with a balanced diet and regular exercise. It improves blood sugar control and supports heart and kidney health, thereby reducing the risk of diabetes-related complications. When used regularly, it helps patients achieve stable blood sugar levels, making daily activities easier and improving their overall quality of life.In Treatment of Chronic kidney diseaseIn people with chronic kidney disease, Xenia 10 Tablet helps slow the worsening of kidney function and reduces the risk of progression to kidney failure or the need for dialysis. It also helps lower the risk of heart problems, which are common in kidney disease. It protects the kidneys and supports long-term health. This gives the patients a better chance of maintaining a stable condition, leading to fewer hospital visits and an improved quality of life.show moreshow less

How It Works
Xenia 10 Tablet works by selectively blocking a protein in the kidneys called the sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2). This protein is responsible for reabsorbing glucose from the urine back into the bloodstream. Xenia 10 Tablet inhibits this protein, causing the excess glucose to be eliminated through the urine, which helps lower blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. Additionally, this process leads to mild salt and water loss, helping to reduce the workload on the heart and protect kidney function, thereby lowering the risk of heart failure and progression of chronic kidney disease.
