Wilcoxia Spray is a combination of six medicines: Mephenesin, Diclofenac, Lidocaine, Methyl Salicylate, Linseed Oil and Menthol which relieve pain. Mephenesin is a muscle relaxant. Methyl Salicylate and Menthol are topical analgesics (pain relievers). They work by first cooling the skin then warming it up. This cooling and warming up action interferes with the pain signal transmission through nerves. Linseed Oil decreases swelling through its anti-inflammatory properties.
