Vpl 5mg Injection is a calcium channel blocker. It blocks the action of calcium on the heart and blood vessels, thereby widening the blood vessels and allowing more blood and oxygen to reach the heart. This reduces blood pressure and decreases the chances of angina (chest pain).

Alcohol:
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Vpl 5mg Injection.

Pregnancy:
Vpl 5mg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
Vpl 5mg Injection is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving:
Vpl 5mg Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:
Vpl 5mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Vpl 5mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Careful monitoring of the patient for any signs of overdosage is advisable.

Liver:
Vpl 5mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Vpl 5mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

It may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
It may cause you to feel lightheaded or weak especially when you stand up (orthostatic hypotension). Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. 
It is best to avoid drinking alcohol while taking Vpl 5mg Injection as it may make the side effects worse.
Do not stop taking it suddenly without talking to your doctor first.
