Tolvasca 15 Tablet helps to get rid of the excess fluids and retains sodium in the blood. This restores the normal sodium levels in our body and prevents further complications such as memory loss.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Common Side Effects :
Frequent urge to urinate
Nocturia (increased urge to urinate during the night)
Dryness in mouth
Increased thirst
Constipation
Nausea
Increased creatinine level in blood
Increased potassium level in blood

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tolvasca 15 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Tolvasca 15 Tablet is a vasopressin antagonist. It works by blocking the effect of the hormone vasopressin in the body. This increases urine production, reduces the amount of water in the blood and raises the blood sodium level.

Alcohol:
Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Tolvasca 15 Tablet. Please consult your doctor.

Pregnancy:
Tolvasca 15 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
Tolvasca 15 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving:
Tolvasca 15 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:
Tolvasca 15 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Tolvasca 15 Tablet is recommended.However, the use of Tolvasca 15 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver:
Tolvasca 15 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tolvasca 15 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Tolvasca 15 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

Tolvasca 15 Tablet treats low sodium levels in the blood.
It also improves urine flow without causing the body to lose too much sodium as you urinate.
Take it at the same time everyday. Take it according to the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor.
To avoid dehydration, it is best to drink something as soon as you feel thirsty, but avoid alcoholic drinks.
Do not take Tolvasca 15 Tablet if you are unable to urinate, if you are unable to tell when you are thirsty, or if you are severely dehydrated.
You will need to be in a hospital under observation any time you start or restart treatment with Tolvasca 15 Tablet.
Inform your doctor if you notice problems with speech or muscle control, trouble swallowing, trouble moving your arms and legs, or mood changes.
Your doctor may check your liver function before starting treatment and regularly thereafter. Inform your doctor if you notice yellowing of eyes or skin, dark urine, or stomach pain.

If you miss a dose of Tolvasca 15 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
