Sitahenz G1 Tablet is a medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes. It helps control blood sugar levels by lowering the amount of glucose produced by the liver and helps the body use insulin more effectively. Proper management of blood sugar levels helps reduce the risk of complications associated with diabetes. Sitahenz G1 Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and at the same time each day to get maximum benefits. This medication is only part of a treatment program that should also include a healthy diet, regular exercise, and weight reduction. Continue taking the medicine even if you feel better or your blood sugar levels are managed. If you stop it suddenly, your blood sugar levels may increase and increase your risk of complications.  There is limited data on the common side effects of Sitahenz G1 Tablet. However, if you experience any symptoms such as hypoglycemia (low blood glucose), nausea, upset stomach, or headache, let your doctor know. They may be able to suggest ways to manage or prevent the side effects. You should not take Sitahenz G1 Tablet if you have type 1 diabetes mellitus or acute or chronic metabolic acidosis. Patients with impaired kidneys and liver should consult with a doctor before taking Sitahenz G1 Tablet. Inform your doctor about all the other medicines that you taking as some of them can affect or be affected by this medication. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctors before taking it.
