Prefer giving Safepred Forte Oral Solution with food as an empty stomach can trigger acidity and gastric reflux.
Do not give this medicine more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
Your child may be more likely to get new infections. Also, in some cases, old infections may become active. Tell your child’s doctor if you see any signs of an infection such as fever, cough, vomiting, or diarrhea.
Delay vaccination while your child is taking Safepred Forte Oral Solution as it may not work well. As soon as your child feels better, the vaccine can be given after consulting a doctor.
Do not stop the medicine abruptly. Seek the doctor’s guidance to taper the dose gradually as sudden withdrawal may result in a steroid withdrawal syndrome.
Always check with your child's doctor before giving any other medications, including those that don't need a prescription (over-the-counter medicines).

If you miss a dose of Safepred Forte Oral Solution, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
