It works by stopping the growth of the bacteria causing the infection.This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Roximex 150 Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading.

Alcohol:
Consuming alcohol with Roximex 150 Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.

Pregnancy:
Roximex 150 Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breastfeeding:
Roximex 150 Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving:
Roximex 150 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:
Roximex 150 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Roximex 150 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:
Roximex 150 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Roximex 150 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Your doctor has prescribed Roximex 150 Tablet to cure your infection and improve your symptoms.
Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat.
Take it 1 hour before or two hours after food.
Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Roximex 150 Tablet.
Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
Stop taking Roximex 150 Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it.

If you miss a dose of Roximex 150 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
