Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. RG-TX Tablet SR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

RG-TX Tablet SR is a combination of three medicines: Tranexamic Acid, L Glutathione Reduced and L Ascorbic acid. These medicines work by blocking the action of certain chemicals that cause pigmentation in the skin following exposure to UV rays.

RG-TX Tablet SR is used for the treatment of melasma and to reduce skin pigmentation.
Along with using this medicine, apply sunscreen (with minimum SPF 15), wear long-sleeved clothing, sunglasses, hat whenever you step outside in the hot sun for better protection.
You may also use certain safe cosmetics (after consulting with your doctor) in order to lighten pigmentation.
You may also use moisturizer regularly to overcome skin dryness during the course of treatment.

If you miss a dose of RG-TX Tablet SR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
