Product Description
Reposit Tablet is a medicine used to treat stomach ulcers and gastritis. It increases protective mucus in the stomach, improves blood flow, and reduces inflammation. This helps heal damage caused by acid, irritation, or infection and relieves symptoms like pain, burning, and discomfort. Take Reposit Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice daily. It can be taken with or without food. To get the most benefit, follow your doctor’s instructions carefully and take the medicine regularly without missing doses. In addition to taking Reposit Tablet, try to avoid spicy, oily, or acidic foods, limit alcohol intake, and manage stress, as these can irritate the stomach further. Quitting smoking, if you smoke, can also help improve your stomach health. Some people may experience mild side effects like nausea, constipation, diarrhea, or abdominal discomfort. These usually go away on their own as your body adjusts to the medicine. If the symptoms bother you or persist, talk to your doctor. Serious side effects are rare, but if you experience any unusual symptoms such as severe abdominal pain, allergic reactions, or rash, seek medical help immediately. Before starting Reposit Tablet, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any liver or kidney problems. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to rebamipide or any of its ingredients. While on treatment, avoid overuse of painkillers like ibuprofen or aspirin, as they can irritate the stomach lining and slow down healing. Always inform your doctor about any other medications or supplements you are taking to avoid possible interactions.
Key Benefits
In Treatment of Mouth ulcersMouth ulcers are small painful sores on inner lips, gums, tongue, roof of the mouth or throat that may interfere with eating, drinking and even talking. Reposit Tablet blocks chemicals in our brain that are responsible for pain sensation and inflammation. Therefore it provides relief from pain, discomfort and symptoms of inflammation such as redness or swelling due to mouth ulcers. This makes it easier for you to go about your daily activities. Continue using it as advised by the doctor to get maximum benefit. In Treatment of Peptic ulcer diseasePeptic ulcer disease is a condition in which painful sores or ulcers develop in the inner lining of the stomach or gut (intestine). Reposit Tablet reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes which prevents further damage to the ulcer as it heals naturally. You may be given other medicines along with this medicine depending on what caused the ulcer. You need to keep taking the medicine as it is prescribed for it to be effective, even if the symptoms seem to disappear. In Treatment of GastritisIn gastritis, Reposit Tablet reduces inflammation of the stomach lining and restores its natural defense by increasing mucus production and suppressing harmful oxidative stress. This helps relieve common symptoms like bloating, burning sensation, nausea, and stomach discomfort. As a result, patients experience better digestion, improved appetite, and overall enhanced comfort, leading to a more balanced and symptom-free lifestyle.show moreshow less

How It Works
Rebamipide promotes mucosal healing in stomach ulcers and gastritis by enhancing the production of prostaglandins, stimulating mucus and bicarbonate secretion, and increasing gastric mucosal blood flow. Its antioxidant properties also help reduce inflammation and oxidative damage. Additionally, rebamipide helps in maintaining epithelial integrity and promoting cell regeneration, contributing to mucosal protection and ulcer healing.
