Product Description
Qlaira Tablet is a combination of two medicines namely estradiol valerate (a form of estrogen) and dienogest (a progestin). They work together to help regulate your menstrual cycles and prevent pregnancy. A 28 pill pack of Qlaira Tablet includes four different types of tablets, each with a specific color. To ensure maximum effectiveness, it is crucial to take this medicine exactly as suggested by your doctor. Typically, one tablet is taken every day for 28 days as per the color order specified on the pack. Once the pack gets over, start with a new one. Qlaira Tablet can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. Do not stop taking it without talking to your doctor. If you vomit or have diarrhea, or if you miss your dose for longer than 12 hours, talk to your doctor about using an alternate birth control method such as condoms for a few days.Headache, acne, breast pain, weight gain, and metrorrhagia (abnormal uterine bleeding between menstrual periods) are some commonly seen side effects of this medicine. Let your doctor know if these bother you or appear serious. Additionally, you may notice changes in menstrual bleeding patterns, especially in the first few months of use. Consult with your doctor if this occurs frequently or persists longer. Inform your doctor if you notice swelling and pain in your limbs, shortness of breath, chest pain, or changes in vision, as it may be a sign of a blood clot. Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you smoke and are over 35, or if you have ever had a heart attack, blood clots, liver problems, or hormone-related disorders. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Do not take the medicine if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. It is noteworthy that Qlaira Tablet does not protect against HIV infections (AIDS) and other sexually transmitted diseases and is not suitable for use as emergency contraception after unprotected sexual contact.
Key Benefits
In ContraceptionQlaira Tablet is a contraceptive medicine that prevents pregnancy. Firstly, it prevents an egg from being released from your ovaries. Secondly, it makes the fluid (mucus) in your cervix thicker, which makes it more difficult for sperm to enter the womb. Additionally, it prevents thickening of the lining of your womb, thereby making it unfavorable for an egg to grow in it. When taken daily, it provides a convenient, reliable, safe and reversible method of birth control for women. It does not interrupt with sex and you can lead a normal routine life without any worries. Take Qlaira Tablet as directed by the doctor to get the most benefit.

Quick Tips
Before starting Qlaira Tablet, it is crucial to talk with a doctor. They will look at your health, medical history, and lifestyle to decide if this pill is right for you.
To make sure Qlaira Tablet works well, it is important to take it every day at the same time without skipping any doses. You can set a reminder or make it part of your daily routine to help you remember.
It is important to see your doctor regularly when you are using any contraceptive pill. This helps ensure it is working well, keeps an eye out for any side effects, and gives you a chance to discuss any concerns you may have.
While contraceptive pills are highly effective when taken correctly, they do not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs). For individuals at risk of STIs, additional barrier methods such as condoms should be used consistently and correctly.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember it, even if this means taking two tablets at the same time. Then, continue taking the following tablets at the usual time. If you are less than 12 hours late in taking any tablet, contraceptive protection is not reduced but if it has been more than 12 hours, contraceptive protection may be reduced. Depending on the day of the cycle on which the tablet has been missed, and the time elapsed, backup contraceptive measures (e.g., a barrier method such as a condom) may have to be used.
