Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Psoderm 100 Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Psoderm 100 Capsule is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming their own protective covering (cell wall) which is required for their survival in the human body.

Alcohol:
Consuming alcohol while taking Psoderm 100 Capsule may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Pregnancy:
Psoderm 100 Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
Psoderm 100 Capsule is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving:
Psoderm 100 Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:
Psoderm 100 Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Psoderm 100 Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Psoderm 100 Capsule is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver:
There is limited information available on the use of Psoderm 100 Capsule in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

Psoderm 100 Capsule is used in combination with other medicines for the treatment of tuberculosis.
Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.
Psoderm 100 Capsule may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Psoderm 100 Capsule as this may worsen the side effects.
During treatment, you will need to have regular blood tests to monitor your kidney and liver function, blood cell counts and the amount of medicine in your blood.
Stop taking Psoderm 100 Capsule and inform your doctor if you experience skin rashes, headaches, tremor, fits, problems with speech or movement, depression, or other changes in mood, thoughts or behavior.
Do not stop taking this medicine until your doctor tells you to.
