The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasms, thereby improving the movement of muscles. The pain-relieving medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Alcohol:
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Powergesic Tablet. Please consult your doctor.

Pregnancy:
Powergesic Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
Powergesic Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving:
Powergesic Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:
Powergesic Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with kidney disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:
Powergesic Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Powergesic Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Powergesic Tablet is most effective when taken along with proper rest and physical therapy.
Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Powergesic Tablet, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage.
Older adults may have increased drowsiness, confusion, and a higher risk of falling as a result of taking Powergesic Tablet.
Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough and cold) without asking your doctor first.

If you miss a dose of Powergesic Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
