pILOMAX Tablet is a cholinergic agonist. It works by stimulating certain nerves and glands in your body, thereby increasing the production of saliva, tears, sweat, digestive juices, and other secretions.

Alcohol:
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with pILOMAX Tablet. Please consult your doctor.

Pregnancy:
pILOMAX Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
pILOMAX Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving:
pILOMAX Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:
pILOMAX Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of pILOMAX Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:
pILOMAX Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of pILOMAX Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of pILOMAX Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

Inform your doctor if you have eye inflammation, suffer from asthma, liver, kidney, or heart diseases, Parkinson’s disease, stomach ulcer, have problems in passing urine, high blood pressure, or narrow-angle glaucoma (increased eyeball pressure due to obstruction to the outflow of fluid).
Drink sufficient water to reduce dehydration due to excessive sweating caused by pILOMAX Tablet.
The back layer of your eye (fundus) may be examined before starting this medicine.
You may be regularly monitored for visual fields and intraocular pressure on long-term therapy with pilocarpine for glaucoma.
Do not drive or operate machinery as pilocarpine causes dizziness and blurring of vision, especially at night.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.

If you miss a dose of pILOMAX Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
