It will also relieve allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or throat irritation and help you carry out your daily activities more easily.This medicine is safe and effective. Phensedyl LR Oral Suspension usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it as prescribed by the doctor. Do not stop using it unless you are advised to by your doctor.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

It is usually taken for a short time, until the symptoms clear up.
Measure the syrup with a special dose-measuring spoon or cup, not a regular table spoon. 
Drink extra fluids to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication.
It should not be administered to patients with chronic cough or where cough is accompanied by excessive secretions.
Inform your doctor if your cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or occurs with fever, rash or headache. These could be signs of a serious condition.

If you miss a dose of Phensedyl LR Oral Suspension, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
