Common Side Effects :
Epigastric pain

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Percin Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Avoid Percin Tablet with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.

Percin Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.

Alcohol:
Consuming alcohol with Percin Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.

Pregnancy:
Percin Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
Percin Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving:
Percin Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:
There is limited information available on the use of Percin Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:
There is limited information available on the use of Percin Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

Discontinue Percin Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
Notify your doctor if you feel pain in your tendons, numbness, or tingling sensations.

If you miss a dose of Percin Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
