Mucosic Mouth Paint is a combination of antimicrobials and pain relievers. Tannic acid inhibits the growth of certain bacteria and the formation of dental plaque biofilm, protects the periodontal membrane, prevents the surface demineralization of enamel and promotes the re-mineralization of the enamel. Choline salicylate blocks the release of certain chemicals (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation. Cetrimide works as an antiseptic. Lidocaine interrupts the transfer of pain signals from a wound to the brain.

Avoid eating and drinking immediately after applying Mucosic Mouth Paint. Avoid spicy foods, acidic fruit drinks, and very salty foods (such as crisps), which can worsen the pain and stinging. Use a soft toothbrush after consulting your dentist. Do not smoke while using Mucosic Mouth Paint as it might cause some side-effects. Avoid putting dentures back in the mouth for half an hour after applying the gel in your mouth.

If you miss a dose of Mucosic Mouth Paint, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
