In Cerebral edema (accumulation of excessive fluid in the brain)Symptoms of brain swelling (cerebral edema) include headache, dizziness, nausea, numbness or weakness, loss of coordination or balance, loss of the ability to see or speak, seizures (fits), memory loss, incontinence, or altered level of consciousness. Mg Flow Infusion decreases brain volume by decreasing overall water content in the brain. This helps to reduce the accumulation of excessive fluid in the brain. It helps to relieve these symptoms effectively within a short duration of time and prevents further complications.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Mg Flow Infusion is a combination of two medicines: Glycerin and Mannitol which treat increased pressure in the skull/brain. Mannitol is an osmotic diuretic which draws water out of tissues in the brain and decreases swelling around the brain. Addition of Glycerin prevents the swelling from coming back which may possibly occur with plain Mannitol.

Alcohol:
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Mg Flow Infusion. Please consult your doctor.

Pregnancy:
Mg Flow Infusion may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
Mg Flow Infusion is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving:
Mg Flow Infusion does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney:
Mg Flow Infusion is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Mg Flow Infusion may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:
There is limited information available on the use of Mg Flow Infusion in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

Mg Flow Infusion is used for the treatment of cerebral edema (swelling in the brain).
The heart rate and health of the patient should be carefully evaluated before administering Mg Flow Infusion.
Urinary output, fluid balance, central venous pressure, and electrolyte balance (in particular serum sodium and potassium levels) should be carefully monitored.

If you miss a dose of Mg Flow Infusion, contact your doctor as soon as possible. They will advise you on how to proceed, which may include rescheduling the missed dose.
