It is advisable to continue taking Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR until your doctor advises you to stop.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR is a combination of two medicines: Eperisone and Aceclofenac, which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Eperisone is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Alcohol:
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR.

Pregnancy:
Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
Information regarding the use of Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.

Driving:
Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney:
Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver:
Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is advisable while the patient is taking this medicine.

Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR is usually used along with rest and physical therapy.
Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach.
It may cause dizziness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR, as it may cause excessive drowsiness.

If you miss a dose of Meuzosone-AC Tablet SR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
