Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Livial Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Livial Tablet is a hormonal medication. It has effects similar to estrogen, progesterone and androgen. It substitutes for the loss of estrogen production in postmenopausal women and treats menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats and vaginal problems. It also prevents bone loss following menopause.

Alcohol:
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Livial Tablet.

Pregnancy:
Livial Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Breastfeeding:
Information regarding the use of Livial Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.

Driving:
Livial Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney:

Take it at the same time everyday to help you remember to take it.
It may cause bleeding or spotting in between menstrual periods. Let your doctor know if this occurs frequently.
Stop taking Livial Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get severe headaches, stabbing pains or swelling in one leg, and pain on breathing. These could be symptoms of a blood clot in a vein.
Ensure that you regularly check your breasts for any changes and undergo regular breast screening and cervical smear tests while on treatment with this medicine.
Do not use Livial Tablet if you have a history of blood clots and liver disease.

If you miss a dose of Livial Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
