Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ivabradine and Metoprolol Succinate. They work by reducing the heart rate and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

Alcohol:
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet.

Pregnancy:
Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving:
Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet may cause transient luminous phenomena. This should be taken into account especially when driving at night.

Kidney:
Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Limited information is available for use of Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver:
Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

You have been prescribed Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet for the treatment of angina (chest pain).
It must be taken with food.
Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
You may experience temporary changes in your vision such as enhanced visual brightness. These may occur within the initial 2 months of treatment and should gradually go away.
Inform your doctor if you experience symptoms of low heart rate such as dizziness, tiredness, and low energy.

If you miss a dose of Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
