Iladac DSR Capsule PR is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Ilaprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Ilaprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Alcohol:
Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Iladac DSR Capsule PR. Please consult your doctor.

Pregnancy:
Iladac DSR Capsule PR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
Iladac DSR Capsule PR should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Driving:
Iladac DSR Capsule PR may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:
Iladac DSR Capsule PR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Iladac DSR Capsule PR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:
Iladac DSR Capsule PR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Iladac DSR Capsule PR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Iladac DSR Capsule PR is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.

You have been prescribed Iladac DSR Capsule PR for the treatment of acidity and heartburn.
Take it one hour before the meal, preferably in the morning.
It is a well-tolerated medicine and provides relief for a long time.
Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea, fever or stomach pain that does not go away.
Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking it for 14 days as you may be suffering from some other problem that needs attention.
Long-term use can cause weak bones and deficiency of minerals such as magnesium. Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Iladac DSR Capsule PR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
