Hymin-HA Lubricant Eye Drop is a medicine used for the treatment of dry eyes. It helps to soothe the irritation and burning seen in dry eyes by moistening and maintaining proper lubrication of the eyes. Hymin-HA Lubricant Eye Drop is usually taken when needed. Use the number of drops as advised by your doctor. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering any other medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Do not use a bottle if the seal is broken before you open it. Always wash your hands and do not touch the end of the dropper. This could infect your eye.The most common side effects of using this medicine is eye irritation. It is usually temporary and resolves by itself. Let your doctor know if you persist for a longer time or get worse. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after putting the medication. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
Make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
Try to keep your environment less dry by reducing excessive use of room heaters or using a humidifier.
Wear glasses or sunglasses to protect your eyes from wind and dust when out in a hot, dry climate.
Rest your eyes by taking regular breaks if you spend long periods in front of a screen.
