Folitrax LP Gel is a medicine used to treat a severe form of skin disease called psoriasis when other treatments are not effective. The medicine help kills the cells in the skin which are growing too quickly. It may be also used to treat other conditions, as determined by the doctor. Folitrax LP Gel is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to use it. Do not stop using the medicine without first checking with your doctor. You should use it exactly as your doctor has advised.The medicine is generally safe and does not usually cause any side effects. However, if you experience any symptoms on using the medicine, let your doctor know. There may be ways of preventing or reducing these effects.Before using it, tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Let your doctor also if you are taking or using any other medications. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. It can cause harm to your baby.
