Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Floricot Tablet is to be taken with food.

Floricot Tablet is a steroid medicine. It works by decreasing the amount of sodium that is removed through urine.

Alcohol:
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Floricot Tablet.

Pregnancy:
Floricot Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:

Driving:
Floricot Tablet may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.

Floricot Tablet is used for the treatment of addison’s disease (Inadequate production of natural steroid hormones by the adrenal glands).
It is also effective in correcting electrolyte imbalances associated with Addison's disease.
Take it with food to avoid stomach upset.
Your doctor may get regular blood tests done to monitor the levels of electrolytes (such as sodium) in your blood while you are taking this medicine.
Regularly monitor your blood pressure, your salt intake in foods, and your weight. Inform your doctor if you notice any changes.
Let your doctor know you're on this medicine before you receive any vaccines.
It can re-activate any old infections you may have. Inform your doctor if you have or had hepatitis B, C, or tuberculosis.
Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor first.

If you miss a dose of Floricot Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
