Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. dAZtor 10 Tablet is to be taken with food.

Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Vitamin D3 is added to relieve the muscular pain caused by Atorvastatin.

Alcohol:
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with dAZtor 10 Tablet.

Pregnancy:
dAZtor 10 Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Breastfeeding:
dAZtor 10 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving:
dAZtor 10 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:
dAZtor 10 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of dAZtor 10 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:
dAZtor 10 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of dAZtor 10 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of dAZtor 10 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
