Take Colchimap Tablet as prescribed and avoid skipping doses. Make appropriate lifestyle changes like losing weight (if you are overweight), eating a healthy diet and avoiding alcohol or sugar-sweetened drinks to get maximum benefit.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Breastfeeding:
Colchimap Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving:
It is not known whether Colchimap Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney:
Colchimap Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Colchimap Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Colchimap Tablet should preferably be avoided if you have serious kidney disease.

Liver:
Colchimap Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Colchimap Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, close monitoring is recommended for patients with mild to moderate liver disease also but dose adjustment is not necessary.

Colchimap Tablet is used for the treatment and prevention of gout.
It interacts with many different medicines. Inform your doctor about all the medications that you are taking.
Inform your doctor if you have serious nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or if you have tingling in your fingers or toe.
It can lower your body's ability to make new blood cells. Inform your doctor know if you have frequent bleeding, bruising, fevers, or if you are always tired.
Do not take Colchimap Tablet if you have severe liver disease, kidney disease, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you miss a dose of Colchimap Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
