Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Cloneon Injection is an alpha-2 agonist. It works by decreasing heart rate and relaxing the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily through the body.

Alcohol:
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Cloneon Injection.

Pregnancy:
Information regarding the use of Cloneon Injection during pregnancy is not available. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
Cloneon Injection should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Driving:
Cloneon Injection may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.

Kidney:
Cloneon Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cloneon Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advisable for dose adjustment.

Liver:
Cloneon Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Cloneon Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

It is given as an IV infusion under the supervision of a doctor.
Cloneon Injection may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
It may cause you to feel lightheaded especially when you stand up (orthostatic hypotension).  Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. 
It may cause dryness of eyes. Take caution while using contact lenses.
Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. 
Dizziness or fainting may occur, especially when rising from a lying or sitting position. Getting up slowly may help improve the problem.
Eat healthy (low-fat, high-fibre, low-sodium diet), quit smoking, limit alcohol intake, increase your physical activity, watch your weight, and reduce stress.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.
