Carisoma Compound Tablet also does not cause much sleepiness due to the presence of Caffeine in it. Carisoma Compound Tablet works quickly, usually within a few hours and the maximum benefit can take 2 to 4 weeks or sometimes longer. Take it as prescribed. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Carisoma Compound Tablet is a combination of three medicines: carisoprodol, caffeine and paracetamol which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Carisoprodol is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Caffeine increases the effectiveness of paracetamol.

Alcohol:
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Carisoma Compound Tablet.

Pregnancy:
Carisoma Compound Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
Carisoma Compound Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.Baby should be monitored for excessive sleepiness.

Driving:
Carisoma Compound Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:
Carisoma Compound Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Carisoma Compound Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:
Carisoma Compound Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Carisoma Compound Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, the use of Carisoma Compound Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

You have been prescribed Carisoma Compound Tablet to get relief from pain and stiffness in the muscles.
You may see results within 1.5 to 2 hours after taking Carisoma Compound Tablet. Take it exactly as advised by your doctor.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures.
Immediately seek medical help if you experience hallucinations, fever, sweating, shivering, fast heart rate, muscle twitching, or loss of coordination.
Along with taking Carisoma Compound Tablet, your doctor might advise you to undergo physiotherapy to get relief from pain.

If you miss a dose of Carisoma Compound Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
