If the pressure in your eye is too high, it can damage your sight. You should only use it in the affected eye and take it regularly as prescribed by your doctor. If you stop taking it, the pressure in your eye will not be controlled. This could lead to a loss of sight.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Brintod 1% Eye Drop helps lower high pressure in the eye and reduce the risk of vision loss.
For best results, put one drop 2-3 times daily in the affected eye(s).
Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop. This minimizes the risk of side effects.
Do not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface, or to your eye, to avoid contaminating the eye drops.
Remove contact lenses before using Brintod 1% Eye Drop, and wait at least 15 minutes before re-inserting them.
When applying multiple eye medications, wait for at least 5-15 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution of the medicine.

If you miss a dose of Brintod 1% Eye Drop, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
