Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. B-Long F Tablet SR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

B-Long F Tablet SR is a combination of two nutritional supplements: Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) and Folic Acid which replenish the body's stores of important nutrients.

Alcohol:
Consuming alcohol while taking B-Long F Tablet SR may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Pregnancy:
B-Long F Tablet SR is safe to use during pregnancy. Most studies have shown low or no risk to the developing baby.

Breastfeeding:
B-Long F Tablet SR is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving:
B-Long F Tablet SR does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney:
B-Long F Tablet SR is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of B-Long F Tablet SR may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:
B-Long F Tablet SR is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of B-Long F Tablet SR may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Take B-Long F Tablet SR with a meal to improve absorption and reduce the chances of stomach upset.
If your doctor has prescribed B-Long F Tablet SR when you are pregnant or planning to conceive, continue the medicine consistently, as it support healthy baby development.
Avoid alcohol during B-Long F Tablet SR treatment, as it can interfere with how your body uses the vitamins present in it.
Let your doctor know if you experience numbness or tingling in hands or feet, especially with long-term use of B-Long F Tablet SR.
If you are also taking antacids or iron supplements, space them out by at least 2 hours to avoid affecting absorption.

If you miss a dose of B-Long F Tablet SR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
