Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Avomine Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Avomine Tablet is an antiallergic medication. When your body is exposed to an allergen (pollen, animal dander, house dust etc.), it produces a chemical called histamine. This causes watery eyes, runny or blocked nose, sneezing, skin rashes, itching etc. Avomine Tablet works by blocking the action of histamine, thereby relieving these symptoms. It also works directly on several areas of the brain to prevent nausea/vomiting and help you feel more relaxed.

Alcohol:
Avomine Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

Pregnancy:
Avomine Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding:
Avomine Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.For prolonged use and repeated doses of Avomine Tablet, observe the baby for excessive sleepiness.

Driving:
Avomine Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:
Avomine Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Avomine Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.However, caution is advised in patients with severe kidney disease as it may cause excessive sleepiness in them.

Liver:
Avomine Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Avomine Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Avomine Tablet helps treat nausea, vomiting and allergic conditions
Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Avomine Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
Do not drink alcohol while taking this medication as it may cause increased sleepiness.
It may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Avoid exposing your skin to strong sunlight, use a sunscreen lotion or make sure your skin is protected with clothing.
Do not take it for longer than 7 days. If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 7 days, talk to your doctor.
Stop taking it at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.
Avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery as it may decrease alertness.
Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Avomine Tablet, as it may cause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness.

If you miss a dose of Avomine Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
