How It Works
Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a noncancerous (nonmalignant) enlargement of the prostate gland. alfusin T 5 Tablet ER is a combination of two medications. Alfuzosin is an alpha blocker that works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder to allow urine to flow more easily. Tadalafil improves the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia by an unknown mechanism. But, it is believed to work through inhibition of an enzyme called phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE 5).
