Advikoff-DX Syrup is a combination medicine used in the treatment of dry cough. It reduces the urge to cough by suppressing the activity of the cough center in the brain. It also helps thin and loosen mucus in the airway and makes it easier to cough up and expel phlegm. Advikoff-DX Syrup may be taken with or without food. However, take it in the exact dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Also, continue taking this medicine for as long as your doctor prescribes it even if you feel better. If you stop taking the medicine abruptly, the symptoms may return.The use of this medicine may cause drowsiness, dry mouth, upset stomach, and headache in some individuals.
